Anthony Carman is a senior at John Marshall High School. He played football, soccer, and wrestling. Freshman year he tore his meniscus in his left knee playing football. His sophomore year during wrestling he got a skin infection. He realized in the 8th grade that he had a learning disability but even once he was diagnose with dysgraphia he still worked hard to make sure he had A’s. They realized it when it took him double the time to study than his siblings, and asking for help was more difficult for him. Without Anthony’s sports he wouldn’t be as healthy as he is know. Even though he is a great athlete he does get down on himself. He believes that self punishment makes you work harder.
